It works great, that’s reason for 5 stars. Nice job guys. But, dears, would be great if licensing management be like Diskeeper days instead yearly basis. Nonetheless (I don’t know if licensing was set in this mode), if you want to keep yearly basis, at least permit that one license be switchable between owned machines, that being said, software can be installable with same license on each owned PCs, but only one machine is active with the license instead all of them at the same same time when are powered on. I.E, I got one yearly rate licensing, and software is installed in two machines, but only one machine’s DymaxIO License is active if both are powered on. The reason is because would be great to pay for in-use machine licensing instead having to pay for two licenses when only use one machine as long the other is turned off because not used frequently. Let us know if this feature already works or is an thing that you’ll like to consider later in short term. Thanks.

I started using Diskeeper when it first came out. I used it for several years and was always pleased with what a performance improvement it delivered. I participated in several of the Diskeeper User Experience trial runs as new versions were brought out. I believe Diskeeper 12 was the last one that was compatible with my system. I used it for several years without a single problem. When I was informed that DymaxIO was out and was compatible with the system I was then using, it was a ‘no-brainer’ type decision. I purchased it immediately. I have since upgraded my system to an Alienware Aurora R16. It is a very fast machine running an Intel I9-9900 processor. I have usually about a dozen external USB3 connected Hard drives at any given time. I also have an internal 1 TB drive with data on it. My C: drive is an NVME 1 TB SSD and I do not keep any data on it. It is all operating system and programs. I start DymaxIO as the third item actually running in the background already, the very next thing I start is DymaxIO. There is no doubt at all that everything runs faster with DymaxIO running. It is many times observably faster with large long running programs that do a lot of disk I/O. Since it came out, I have save hundreds of billions of I/Os and its statistics indicate that it has reduced need for CPU by about 50% so things can run even faster. The term ‘greatest thing since sliced bread’ is way overused, but not for DymaxIO. You just set it up and let it run. It requires no interaction from the user. My system runs 24/7 and I only reboot when required (as with some software updates) As Tony the Tiger stated: It’s Great.

I was very happy with Diskeeper Pro for many years and for DymaxIO initially, but then I changed my computer to an Windows ARM-based machine and find out that DymaxIO is not compatible with this processor. Therefore disappointed and hoping that a Windows ARM compatible version will be forthcoming soon.

This product has saved me from having to upgrade my server and disk drives. My server is a Dell PowerEdge T330 with 32gb ram and 8 disk drives. The disk drives are configured as 4 mirrored drives on a Dell Perc H730 Raid controller. Using CrystalDiskMark to test the drive speed on one of the volumes produced these results:

Regarding write performance, you’re correct that the improvement can vary based on the type of writes taking place. IntelliWrite shines most when there are many small, fragmented writes to the same file, as it helps prevent fragmentation at the source. This is particularly beneficial in environments where the same data is frequently read back since it minimizes I/O overhead.

The speed increase is significant, but memory management configuration is absent, with the default settings causing lock-ups for several seconds when running multiple simultaneous applications, such as two instances of Visual Studio 2022 Enterprise alongside one or two instances of SQL Server Management Studio alongside Outlook email, and an instance of FileExplorer running three simultaneous file copies to multiple SSD(s) all running on an Intel I9 ultra system with 64GB DDR5 of RAM. Being able to configure available memory free and intelligently marking more memory as free would be a godsend. I am certain that the settings are manually adjustable, at least.

Thank you for the review as we appreciate the feedback. By default, the IntelliMemory (IM) Caching will use available/unused memory for caching, but if other user/system processes need it, it will give back for their use. By default, it will always leave 10% (Minimum of 1.5GB) of the memory available before using any for caching. For example, on a 32GB system and there is 8 GB available, it will leave 10% (3.2GB) available and IM will just use 4.8 GB for caching. If user/system processes use more memory it will give it up. For 99% of the systems, these defaults have been working fine, but in some case, these need to be adjusted. We will email you directly with instructions on how to adjust it to leave more memory available.

Speed increase is great, but memory management configuration is absent with the default settings causing lock ups for several seconds when running demand apps and crashes in games like CoD MW3 (back to desktop with an out of memory error with nothing else running and a system with 48GB) without insanely large manually configured page file sizes to compensate (currently set to 48GB to match the memory size as lower settings again caused issues). Being able to configure available memory free, intelligently marking more memory as free, a dark mode palette and either a fixed one off price or regular updates when charging for subscription would make this easier to recommend.
Condusiv’s Response:
For 99+% of the users, the default IntelliMemory (caching) parameters work fine, but for others, some fine tuning may be needed. By default, IntelliMemory will always leave 10% of the RAM (or 1.5 GB, larger of the two), before it uses any for caching. You can increase that value with the following:

I had been using Diskeeper for many years and even participated in several customer trial sessions for new releases of Diskeeper. Until Condusiv (I think the company name was still Diskeeper then) came out with one level that I could not test on my machine. I kept the last one that did work (Diskeeper 12) and used it always (I keep my machine on 24/7). Then I received an email from Condusiv discussing some of the features of DymaxIO. I ordered it immediately and installed it as soon as it arrived.
Diskeeper was one of the great products back then and DymaxIO is even better. I move a lot of data around on my system. I have an Alienware Aurora R8. When I purchased it four years ago, it was the fastest machine available to the general public. When I installed DymaxIO, I was kind of surprised when I literally observed that it was VISUALLY faster.
I have a lot of data that I have to move around from time to time and add to. About 100 TB (most USB3 connected. Within less than a day, DymaxIO saved over 1 Billion I/O operations. I have had it for a little over a year now. I’m doing much less data movement now, But in the last two weeks it has eliminated over 230 Million I/Os.
I run Windows 11 Pro and it does the defragmentation. But the speed improvement is still observable. Programs that do large amounts of I/O just run faster.
It has never had a problem and just sits there and does its thing. And it does its thing EXTREMELY well.
I have been in data processing for 60 years starting when I was in college. Back then there were only Mainframes and some mid-range machines. The IBM 168 I used in 1972 cost in the 25 Million dollar range and my Samsung S23 smartphone is more powerful.
Big mainframes have dwindled in number, but PCs are being used a lot from personal computers to the large companies. Those who use DymaxIO are all seeing great improvement in performance. As a consultant for the past 50 years, I have used thousands of programs and DymaxIO is one of the best.
I fully endorse it as a MUST have for anyone who is using a PC sized machine for any real work.

I have been a Diskeeper usere and field tester for a long long time. Diskeeper was great. I kept using it from the time I was on Windows 7 (maybe even earlier – can’t remember) through Windows 10 Pro (using Diskeeper 12). A few months ago Diskeeper began having a problem with its service stopping at random times. Several times, I had to reboot Windows 10 Pro to get Diskeeper working again For a while, stopping and then restarting the service allowed it to run, then a few weeks ago, even rebooting would not resolve the problem Then I received an email from Condusiv regarding DymaxIO. As soon as I saw that it would work on Windows 10 Pro, I bought it. I put it in my startup right away, then when I rebooted, I saw a window pop up stating that DymaxIO had start, but I soon found out that I had to actually open it before it would open a window in my default browser. That is the ONLY issue I have had with DymaxIO and it is easy enough to just open it manually anf it will pop right into my default browser. It works so well that I can see a noticeable difference in how fast almost all program got (all that do any disk IO). I can’t say enough how good it is. As I stated earlier, almost all programs that do any disk IO run noticeably faster and you don’t have to do any manual defragmentation. It does it all. If anyone hasn’t bought it yet, they should do so immediately. It is more than well worth the cost.

The recent offer of DymaxIO Client with the potential for performance improvements in Windows was one I didn’t want to pass up. Installation was a breeze (although in my case a reboot was required) and configuration is simple via the program’s dashboard.
Both my laptop and desktop PC (running Windows 10 Home and Pro) benefitted immediately from DymaxIO. They are both performing as if I’d added physical RAM or upgraded CPU’s. I haven’t yet run benchmarks, but the perceived improvements in performance are clear!

Having found Diskeeper to solve the continuous defrag option, I had to perform on a regular basic just to keep my system in a good working order. I’ve had newest versions of diskeeper for years, running silently and seamlessly in the background. Ditto for DymaxIO. There is one thing that may be DymaxIO related: I do a lot of photoprocessing with Photoshop cc with my laptop that has both Intel and Nvidia video cards. I used to have crashes with add on programs and some operations when saving images, unless I disabled the Intel graphics, which lead to some other problems with things that require the Intel card, like using an external 4K Monitor. However, since DymaxIO I’ve been able to operate with Intel enabled. It could be that windows fixed the graphics default to high res for certain programs, but the problems on save make me think that it was DymaxIO after all.
